Growing<\/h3>\n

Krook snus is 100% grown in Sweden. The tobaccoplants grown on Visings\u00f6 all derive from my own \u00b4bank of seeds\u00b4. The soil is naturally composted organic material from Visings\u00f6. No insecticides or pesticides are used.<\/p>\n

The raw material of snusmaking.<\/h3>\n

The raw material product is often ground parts in different sizes of graininess. From flour and fine grainy to rougher ground and cut rough. Even seeds, seed capsules and flowers from the tobacco plant can be used in snus, but in small amounts. Selection<\/h2>\n

Selected parts from the tobaccoplants becomes Elis\u00b4wings (Elis Vingar). Elis\u00b4wings is a base blend of loose snus, where the main part is lamina (leaf tobacco). From this base blend three different sorts of snus (Tobacco wings, Sweet wings and Hot wings) is made.<\/p>\n

From tobaccoseed to own snus<\/h2>\n

Growing tobacco for household use doesn\u00b4t demand great areas. It could be enough using a deepbed of 3m\u00b2, optimized soil, sun, water and a bit of cultivation mind to grow 33 plants. Such cultivation even works in a narrow garden.
